Welcome to Lexi Lowell Photography!

Hi, I’m Lexi, a Maine wedding and portrait photographer located in the Bangor area (central Maine). I work with clients up and down the Maine coast, from Portland to Bar Harbor to points further north. I also offer my services in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and the rest of New England.

My goal is to deliver a fun, positive, and creative photography experience. I love getting to know my clients, and nothing makes me happier than photographing the personalities, relationships, and experiences in front of me. My photography style varies a little bit depending on my subject matter. I use both natural and off-camera lighting, and I work both on location and at my studio in Bangor.

When it comes to wedding photography, much of my time is spent capturing candid, photojournalistic images that tell the story of the day – the big moments down to the little details. I compliment this with artistic, intimate portraits of my couples and the people closest to them.

When photographing high school seniors, I try to strike a balance between both the classic and the creative, and I really enjoy doing fashion-inspired portraits! For other sessions, I take a more candid lifestyle approach, photographing my clients (and their personalities) in the moment.

Please take a look around and be sure to check out my featured blog posts below. If you have questions or want additional information, just email or call me. Thanks for stopping by. I look forward to hearing from you!

Jill and Ryan at Sebasco Harbor Resort

A few weeks ago, Matt and I had the privilege of photographing Jill and Ryan’s wedding at the Sebasco Harbor Resort in Phippsburg, Maine. The Resort is a beautiful location featuring several quaint cottages that look out toward the harbor. Even though the forecast called for scattered thundershowers throughout the...

    Mary and Paul

Say hello to Mary and Paul! You might remember this cute couple from their engagement session last winter in Bar Harbor. They were married this past July on a much warmer, much sunnier, gorgeous summer day. The day began at Mary’s parents’ house in Old Town, where Mary and her...

Erin and Matt at the Inn on Peaks Island

In early July, Matt and I photographed Erin and Matt’s lovely wedding at the Inn on Peaks Island. This ultra-fun couple chose Peaks Island because they love Portland and visit the city often. You might remember their engagement session, which we photographed in and around downtown Portland this past spring....
